After a year or so of chemo, surgery and cancer recovery the Grand Canyon was on my husband's bucket list. So this May we flew to Phoenix and drove to the Grand Canyon. The photos we took could never do it justice.
We managed to hike the mile and a half to the first rest stop on Bright Angel Trail. We live in the Tennessee mountains and I hike our mountainous neighborhood three days a week. Thank God I do too, because the Grand Canyon hike wore me out!
