It's been a decade or more since the region of the Tennessee mountains where we live has had this much snow and ice. Our normal route of exit and entry to our home consists of a death defying black diamond S curve, but in the event of bad weather we have another road we can take. We thought we'd take it...only we couldn't even get up the first hill, much-less a mountain. Ice, Ice Baby!

The S Curve doesn't look so steep from above.

Sweet "North" Caroline Memories

Our children are grown and gone, so my husband and I decided to trade our mountain view for one of the ocean. We celebrated Christmas 2023, my 64th Birthday and NYE 2024 in North Carolina at Wrightsville, Beach near Wilmington. It will forever be one of our best memories. Wishing you good memories and a Happy and Healthy 2024!
